Last night, I was singing a bit of one song to Zoe and sang, "Dee Dee Deeeeee." Zoe got a glimmer in her eye and then sang BACK to me in perfect time, "Dee Dee Deeeeee!" She was so excited because she knew she did something big. I was so excited. Seth came home and she did it for him, too; he was so excited. This morning, she was able to sing it again. We're so proud of this milestone and excited to sing with our baby. We can't wait for class on Thursday!

"We'll definitely be taking another class--if not this summer, then this fall. Chloe still sings all of your songs, and in fact, 'Can You Do This?' helped her potty-train starting at 12 months. Just wanted to make sure you knew you made a big impression."

"Mikayla is really thriving from a music perspective....Whenever a commercial comes on that has music she will stop what she is doing and clap and sing...it is priceless....She has been saying, "clap your hands," and I didn't know where it came from until I saw your e-mail with "clapyourhands" as the password, and then I made the connection. She must have learned it in class...just like she did with 'Happy Birthday' last semester. My birthday was a week ago and to have her say, 'Happy Birthday, Mama,' was just the best. I commend you and your team for teaching my daughter to love and appreciate music...thank you so much!"

"I have been privileged to attend Music Together^® classes with 5 of my 6 grandchildren (the only reason the sixth didn’t attend was that her family lived in California at that time). It is a delight for me to hear Erin, Kiera, and Brianne singing all through the day, singing the lyrics of their favorite country music songs, AND carrying the tune. The twins, Charlie and Owen, have just started talking, and as we left music class last Monday, Charlie sang out (in his version, but understandable), 'Hello everybody, so nice to see you.' All I have to do when they’re all here is put the CD on and we have a concert--pots, pans, and all. Thank you for giving this gift to my family."

"Earlier this summer, we took a road trip to see my parents in Atlanta and to the beach. It is a 16-hour drive from Rye to Atlanta. Ben and Alex did great in the car in part due to the CD we have from class. When Alex would start to get fussy, I would put on the song 'Two Little Blackbirds.' He would smile and start clapping along. We listened to that song a lot!! He is trying more frequently to talk. Most of the time, he is trying to sing along to the songs on the Music Together CD. :-) He will say/sing 'ack' for Jack and 'ill' for Jill and 'um ack' for come back. It is cute! I knew he enjoyed music class, but I didn't realize until this summer exactly how much he was getting out of the class (especially since he rarely sat still in class :-)). Thank you for all of the time and effort you put into the classes!"

"I thought you would like to know that today we bought Noah his first guitar, and he did not put it down all night! He strums and sings all the songs he knows (ABC's, You Are My Sunshine), but MOST OF ALL he wants to rock back and forth and sing 'Hiyo everybody, so glad to see you, hiyo everybody, so glad to see you too,' with a huge bright smile...it's amazing to me that I could introduce the guitar (he has drums, cymbals, clackers, shakers, all that)...WOW! It's like his whole music class experience came together for him...I really see how children grow musically...for so long he was just absorbing, but now he's carrying a tune and holding notes appropriately and keeping the beat...amazing. It's so beautiful, so I wanted to say THANK YOU! And now I need to learn the guitar!"

"I just cannot resist telling you a story that I know you will enjoy about Preston. First of all, we play our Music Together CDs all the time at home, so I should not be surprised by this at all. However, a few weeks ago Preston started saying something and we just could not figure out what it was. It sounded like 'Trotol, trotol, trotol.' And he would walk around the house all day at random times saying this. So we wondered for quite a while, until we finally realized that he was singing the 'Trot Old Joe' song from this summer's CD. Well, when we figured it out, not only were we amazed, but he was also very happy and proud of himself. Now that we all know, the whole family cannot stop singing the song all day long. We are so happy to have found you and to have Preston enjoying music so much. We can't wait to see you next week for the demo class, and maybe we'll find a new 'favorite' song in this session's Flute series. I recall when Preston started attending these classes, you specifically told me that this would happen, and I wanted to let you know that it has!"
