Experience Music Together® and find out how important--and how much fun--your role can be! Each class includes songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability.
Our Music Together classes build on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. We'll help you provide your child with the basic musical skills needed to enjoy school and social musical activities, and to study an instrument should he or she choose to do so.
During the 3-semester school year, we offer classes in 8 locations in southern and mid-Westchester: Briarcliff, Chappaqua, Dobbs Ferry, Mount Kisco, Scarsdale, Tarrytown, Tuckahoe, and White Plains! During the summer, we offer an abbreviated schedule in some of our locations. Registration for the fall semester is now closed, but registration for the winter semester will begin on December 1! Please call or e-mail the office if you would like to be added to our mailing list.
Monday classes meet on the following dates:
11/17, 11/24, 12/1
Tuesday classes meet on the following dates:
11/18, 11/25, 12/2, 12/9 (and 12/16 in Briarcliff and Tuckahoe only)
Wednesday classes meet on the following dates:
11/19, 12/3, 12/10
Thursday classes meet on the following dates:
11/20, 12/4, 12/11
Friday classes meet on the following dates:
11/21, 12/5
Saturday classes meet on the following dates:
11/22, 12/6
Sunday classes meet on the following dates:
11/23, 12/7
Free demonstration classes, available by reservation only (718-884-0868), are held the week before the regular session's classes begin. The fall demos have finished; please join us in December for the demos preceding the winter semester, which will begin in January.
Please note that the regular semester's classes
cannot be taken as demonstration classes. All spots in all classes are reserved for registered families.
